The Job

Seeking a qualified individual to serve as a senior counterintelligence (CI) analyst for a homeland security client.  Successful candidates will be responsible and self-motivated individuals who are seeking to work in a team environment.  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify, monitor and support efforts to neutralize activities that undermine law enforcement operations in support of the homeland security mission
  • Support policy and analysis related to either the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) or Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
  • Perform CI analysis relating to cybersecurity in the homeland security domain

Qualifications for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Must possess an active TS clearance with eligibility for SCI access
  • Must have demonstrated experience in law enforcement or cybersecurity counterintelligence analysis, or demonstrated experience with CFIUS or SCRM
  • Must understand the Intelligence Community (IC) composition, including the roles and responsibilities of IC components

Must be familiar with the following:

  • Methodologies inherent to insider threats
  • Elicitation methods and procedures
  • Counter-elicitation methods and procedures
  • CI indicators of motivation
  • Methods of information collection and information transmittal
  • Methodologies employed in Competitive Intelligence and Economic Espionage practices
  • Foreign intelligence/CI threat data and the agencies acquiring it (including general, site specific and technical)
  • Implications to program efforts from various threats
